The UB range was born after a study in the Kenyan market was conducted for solar chargers. While conducting our study we came across thousands of small retailers and informal kiosks all of whom sold USB cables and chargers for mobile phones. Unfortunately the quality of Meterial that was being sold was horrible which is where we saw an opportunity.

We immediately started working on USB cables chargers connectors however our objective was never to look at supermarkets and electronic stores we could distribute to, we wanted to be present in every one of those kiosks we saw.

We had to come up with a range of products that were both economical and sturdy enough, we wanted to assure the end user with a guarantee, we wanted to price them within the mass market capability. USB cables were sold all over Africa in two markets the first mordern electronic stores and supermarkets which were all priced out of range for the masses.
